Larry Hendrix President
Larry Hendrix began his career in funeral service at the early age of 12 with Duckett Funeral Home in Central, SC. He moved to Walhalla in 1974 and became employed with Davenport Funeral Home. Larry and wife Carol purchased Davenport Funeral Home in 1991 and relocated the business to its current location on Hwy 11 in 1996.
Larry is a 1974 Honors graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He received his B. S. in Economics with honors from Clemson University in 1983. Larry and Carol Hendrix have three children.

Russell Hendrix Operations Manager
Russell is a native of Westminster, SC. He is the son of Larry and Carol Hendrix. Russell has been an employee of Davenport Funeral Home since 2006. He graduated from Clemson University in December of 2011 with a degree in Management. Russell is a licensed Funeral Director.
Miss LeeAnn Hendrix Office & Accounts Receivables Manager
LeeAnn is a native of Westminster, SC. She is the daughter of Larry and Carol Hendrix. She has been an employee of Davenport Funeral Home since 2010. She graduated Clemson University with B.S. Degree in Biological Sciences in December of 2012. LeeAnn is currently serving her apprenticeship for funeral director/embalmer.
Christopher Hood Funeral Director
Christopher Hood has been with Davenport Funeral Home since 1996. He is a licensed Funeral Director, a licensed Pre-Need Counselor and is a certified crematory operator. Chris is a Past Master (1996) of Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92. He is a Perpetual Member and served as an officer for seventeen years. He is also a Life Member of the Clemson York Rite. Chris was born and raised in Oconee County and resides in Walhalla with his wife, Lisha and two children Kristen and Sam. His hobbies include hunting and fishing and he especially enjoys attending his children's sporting events. He is a member of Hejaz Shrine Temple, Blue Ridge Shrine Club (President 2009),Oconee Hillbilly Clan #2 and the Fifteenth District Past Masters Club.

Heath B. Lawhon Funeral Director/Embalmer
Heath Lawhon joined the Davenport Funeral Home family in May of 2010. Heath graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science from Jefferson State Community College, Birmingham, Alabama in May 2000. He has over 12 years experience serving families as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Heath was born in Gaffney, South Carolina but grew up in Anniston, Alabama. Heath and his wife, LeClaire moved to Walhalla in May 2010 to be closer to family, especially Heath's daughter Stephanie and their granddaughter, Makenzie.
Heath loves classic cars, reading the science fiction writings of Robert Heinlen, and spending time with his family.
Scott C. McCall Funeral Director
Scott C. McCall is a licensed Funeral Director, and has been with Davenport Funeral Home since September 2008. He received his Funeral Director Certificate and is currently pursing his embalming license from Piedmont Technical College. Mr. McCall is a certified crematory operator.
He was born and raised in Oconee County. He graduated Walhalla High School in 2005. He and his wife, Lacey, have two daughters, Ada and Ila. He spends most of his free time enjoying his family.
Mr. Darryl Broome Dual License Apprentice
Donnie A. Richey Insurance Specialist
Donnie A. Richey is a native of Walhalla and has been with Davenport Funeral Home since 2009. Donnie assists families at Davenport with their insurance claims and is a certified crematory operator.
Donnie comes to us from Acree-Davis Funeral Home in Toccoa, Georgia where he started in 2002. He is a 1989 graduate of Walhalla High School, a 1998 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, and is currently enrolled at Ogeechee Technical College in the Mortuary Science Program.
Donnie is the son of David and Shelby Wilbanks Richey of Walhalla. He is married to Tammy Payne Richey, and they have two children, Sydney and Preston. Donnie is a member of Open Door Baptist Church and sings in the church choir. Donnie enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
Steve Stancil Funeral Director's Assistant
Mr. Stancil was born on July 13, 1952, and is the oldest son of Doyle and Rilla Stancil. He graduated from Walhalla High School in 1970, and was a member of the Walhalla High School Marching Band for six years. He has been happily married to his wife, Anita Holden, since June of 1979. Mr. Stancil is a member of Walhalla First Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon, Sunday School Director and is chairman of the Budget and Finance Commission. Mr. Stancil is currently serving as the Chaplain of the Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92 in Walhalla. He has been an avid and devoted Clemson Tiger Football fan since 1977. Before coming to Davenport Funeral Home in 2014, Mr. Stancil worked forty-one years in the retail grocery industry with both Winn Dixie and Ingles.
Anna Sanders Administrative Assistant
Anna Vissage has been with Davenport Funeral Home since August 2015, and works in our business office.
Anna is a native of Mountain Rest, SC. She graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an Associate Degree in Business Management.
