Mrs. Lois Scroggs Holcome Hunt

May 28, 1929 - January 12, 2022

Lois Scroggs Holcombe Hunt, 92, of Walhalla, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Seneca Health and Rehab. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Hunt was the daughter of the late Fred and Stella Sanders Scroggs. She retired from Oconee Memorial Hospital as a Dietary Assistant and was a member of North Walhalla Church of God. Mrs. Hunt is survived by her son: Jerry Holcombe (Betty) of Walhalla; daughter: Yolanda Jean Muller of Walhalla and Donna Fay Marcengill of Walhalla; grandchildren: Kevin Muller (Vicki), Brad Muller (Crystal), Jennifer Kirby (Chad), Caroline McGuirt and Carl McGuirt; and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by her first husband: Jackie C. Holcombe and her second husband: James H. Hunt; and son-in-law: James Muller. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at North Walhalla Church of God with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service, at North Walhalla Church of God.
