Ms. Marianne Addis Dillard

November 20, 1947 - October 22, 2021

Marianne Addis Dillard, 73, of West Union, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Cottingham Hospice House. A native of West Union, SC, Ms. Dillard was the daughter of the late Butler Winfred Addis and Ida Vivian Green Addis, and step-mother, Bonnie Jones Addis. She worked for Oconee County for 30 years and retired as Director of Procurement in 2008. She attended both Open Door Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church and was involved in mission work. Ms. Dillard is survived by her son: Lee Dillard and his wife Mary Ellen; brother: Stephen Addis; sister: Janet Addis and husband Harry Anderson; granddaughters: Sarah Grace McCullough, Ryleigh Jane Goyette, and Ava Marie Dillard. In addition to her parents, Ms. Dillard is preceded in death by her brother: William Butler Addis; and step-mother: Bonnie Jones Addis. A Memorial Service / Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at Ms. Dillard’s home: 1990 N. Hwy 11, West Union, SC 29696.
