Robin Long Washington, 59, wife of Ernest Jones Washington III, of 118 Jamlette Drive, Walhalla, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Washington was the daughter of the late Starling Bruce and Lucy Blackwell Long. She retired from Fatz Café as an associate manager. Mrs. Washington was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Washington is survived by her sister: Sharon Long of Walhalla, SC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Washington was preceded in death by her son: Ernest Jones “E.J.” Washington, IV; and sister: Sandra Lee. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 PM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672. The family is at their respective homes.
