Mrs. Sandra Lynette Smith

Sandra Lynette Smith, 71, wife of 55 years to Eugene Smith, of Walhalla, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home. A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle McCall Lusk. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Smith is survived by her son: Steven "Sam" Smith (Manon) of Walhalla; daughters: Sherri Buchanan (Ty) of Pendleton and Stephanie Brucke of Walhalla; brothers: Jim McCall and Mike Lusk; grandchildren: Savannah Jones, Colson Jones (Bre), Asht'n Wood (Shane), Spencer Brucke (Anna), Zane Smith (Kaitlyn), and Sophie Smith; and great-grandchildren: Nikki Thewlis, Braden Behlke, Landon Brucke, Ansleigh Jones, Philip Bryce Wood, Ellorie Jones, Benjamin "Brother" Jones, and Charleston Wood. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her brothers: John Lusk and Bill McCall; and son-in-law: Philip Brucke. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Prisma Health Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672. The family is at their respective homes.
