Mr. Ray Pearson

Ray Pearson, 89, passed away on November 3, 2024, in Richmond, TX. With a heavy heart and fond memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Ray "Bone" Pearson. Born on the 9th of June 1935, in Seneca, South Carolina, Ray was indeed a spirited soul who lived every day with an infectious zest for life. He was a dedicated and supportive brother, a loving uncle, a best friend to many, and the best brother one could ever ask for. Ray's favorite quote, "Goodie Goodie," aptly describes his positive and upbeat outlook on life, and it is with this energy that he leaves a legacy of love and laughter. Known for his time spent at Singer Ryobi as an assembler, Ray was known for his unwavering dedication and supportive nature. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and his contributions to the manufacturing industry will not be forgotten. In his retirement, Ray discovered a love for yard sales, fishing, and thrifting. His love for these hobbies was only second to his love for chocolate and his regular visits to the Sale Barn. His spirited nature and loving heart made him the life of any gathering, and he will be greatly missed by all. Ray was a devoted member of Camp Oak Church of God of Prophecy, where he found solace and peace. As it is written in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Even as we mourn Ray's passing, we take comfort in knowing that he rests in the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his loving sisters Betty Young and Lurene Taylor. He now joins in eternal rest his parents Nokilee and Jefferson Pearson, and his siblings Archie Pearson, Irene Lusk, Agnes Leonard, Constance Dover, and Calvin Pearson.
