Mr. James Hoyt Lee

May 1, 1933 - March 29, 2022

James Hoyt Lee, 88, husband of Mary Marian Grant Lee, of Walhalla, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2022 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mr. Lee was the son of the late James and Mary Hannah Satterfield Lee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Avondale. Mr. Lee was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife of 65 years, Mr. Lee is survived by his daughters: Susan Head and Angie Jordan; sister: Dot Childs; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his brother: Deck Lee. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl.17, Chicago, IL 60601 or Bethel Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 617, Walhalla, SC 29691. The family is at the home.
