Mr. James Robert Quarles

December 12, 1941 - October 26, 2021

James Robert Quarles, 79, husband of Linda Littleton Quarles, of 120 Brookhaven Circle, Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Seneca Health and Rehab. A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Quarles was the son of the late Robert Sylvester and Della Long Quarles. He retired as Assistant Manager from Oconee Auto Parts and was a part of Ham Radio Operators. Mr. Quarles attended College Street Baptist Church. Mr. Quarles is survived by his step-daughters: Michelle Kendrick (Mike) of Liberty, SC and Kelly Winchester of Walhalla, SC; brothers: Barbour R. Quarles of Moore, SC and Durrell Quarles (Patricia) of Seneca, SC; sisters: Vernice Wald (Herbert) of Greenville, SC and Shirley Edgar of Seneca, SC; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Quarles is preceded in death by his brother: Lloyd S. Quarles; and sisters: Jeanette Shugart and Christine White. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will follow the service.
