March 31, 1992 - December 3, 2021
On December 3, 2021 at 2:00 AM, Matthew Dalton Nichols, completed his earthly journey. Dalton worked hard and loved harder. He cherished family, friends, traditions, nature, and music. He spent his time hiking, cooking for those he loved, surprising friends in unique Dalton ways, and writing songs. He had a passion for music and living his life to the fullest. He found peace with writing, and with his newest hobby, motorcycles. While his earthly performance may be done, we know there is still an encore on the other side. Take solace in knowing that he’s waiting for us beyond the curtain in the sky, guitar in hand, smile on his face, and a fresh cooked meal waiting for us. May the four winds blow him safely home. “Tell me Brother, can you see the sun from where you're standin' now?” West Union, SC– Matthew Dalton Nichols, 29, of 322 Ebenezer Rd., West Union passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
