    Christopher Hood has been with Davenport Funeral Home since 1996. He is a licensed Funeral Director, a licensed Pre-Need Counselor and is a certified crematory operator. Chris is a Past Master (1996) of Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92. He is a Perpetual Member and served as an officer for seventeen years. He is also a Life Member of the Clemson York Rite. Chris was born and raised in Oconee County and resides in Walhalla with his wife, Lisha and two children Kristen and Sam. His hobbies include hunting and fishing and he especially enjoys attending his children's sporting events. He is a member of Hejaz Shrine Temple, Blue Ridge Shrine Club (President 2009),Oconee Hillbilly Clan #2 and the Fifteenth District Past Masters Club. "A family is never really prepared for the passing of a loved one regardless of the circumstances. I feel it is my job to help make the families we serve as comfortable as possible during this trying time."

    Monica joined the Davenport Funeral Home family in December of 2021 following a career in television production. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Anderson University in 2017.Monica grew up in Walhalla, SC, and is the daughter of Robert "Mudd" Jr. and Cindy Winkler.

  • Mr. Donnie A. Richey

    Donnie A. Richey is a native of Walhalla and has been with Davenport Funeral Home since 2009. Donnie assists families at Davenport with their insurance claims and is a certified crematory operator. Donnie comes to us from Acree-Davis Funeral Home in Toccoa, Georgia where he started in 2002. He is a 1989 graduate of Walhalla High School, a 1998 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, and is currently enrolled at Ogeechee Technical College in the Mortuary Science Program. Donnie is the son of David and Shelby Wilbanks Richey of Walhalla. He is married to Tammy Payne Richey, and they have two children, Sydney and Preston. Donnie is a member of Open Door Baptist Church and sings in the church choir. Donnie enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.

    Anna Sanders has been with Davenport Funeral Home since August 2015, and is our Business Office Manager and is also a certified crematory operator. Anna grew up in Mountain Rest, SC now lives in Walhalla with her husband, Cody and their son, Ridge. She graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an Associate Degree in Business Management. She is the daughter of Mark and Jody Vissage.
